Dot Baires Shopping

Dot Baires Shopping is the biggest and most modern shopping facility in Buenos Aires: with 189,000 m2 of indoor floor space and an exceptional location - on the city's most important road intersection - it is a complex project offering the community not only a shopping centre, but also a meeting place.

The lighting design was developed in tandem with the architectural design, at every stage of the project. The light lends dynamism to the geometrical shapes of the building, with dots, lines and accents.

From the engineering standpoint, the lighting design was conceived making use of the very latest fixture and lamp technologies, and concentrating particularly on the question of energy efficiency. The lighting scheme makes extensive use of Leds, and low power fittings with electronic components.
