Cité de l’Architecture et du Patrimoine

With a total area of 21,000 m2, la Cité de l’Architecture et du Patrimoine of Paris occupies the “Paris” wing of the Palais de Chaillot and part of the Palais du Trocadéro, while combining the Museum of French Monuments (MMF), the Ecole de Chaillot and the Institut Français d’Architecture (IFA) under the same institution and infrastructure.

It is a large space composed of numerous different areas in terms of design and relation with daylight. For this reason, iGuzzini developed not one, but many lighting solutions in order to adapt to each situation and offer the best lighting tools possible.

Le Perroquet spotlights are suspended in the Davioud Gallery with the zenith glass window; Pixel Plus downlighters in the Carlu gallery with high windows overlooking the Eiffel Tower; and Linealuce, Glim Cube, Pixel Plus and Extractable Le Perroquet to illuminate the two exhibition levels of the Painting Gallery.
Finally, inside the Institut Français d’Architecture Le Perroquet spotlights adjust perfectly to the different exhibitions organised in the exhibition areas, while Optica downlights illuminate the hall and offices.
