Concept "urban livig room" in Milan

Milan now has a “new urban face”: this is the architect Simone Micheli’s design for the IAT headquarters, situated in the former Cobianchi premises. Simone Micheli has used this area, a habitual haunt of actors, politicians and the jet set since the 1930s, to resurrect the concept of the “urban living room”. His offering is a contemporary rereading of a “symbol” of the good life in Milan, where elegant design, architecture, graphic design and much more besides has once again been made available to the public.
Special products created in collaboration with the architect are used to illuminate this most unusual enclosure: the 16 fabric pendant fixtures can change colour thanks to the use of RGB LEDs, and were designed in a particular size so that they are capable of playing an active part in the concept devised by Micheli. Frame and LedPlus, supplied by iGuzzini in their capacity as project sponsor, complete the lighting scheme.
