New modular lighting systems by iGuzzini

Company iGuzzini introduced a new line of modular lighting systemes called Hub and Action.
Hub, design Piero Castiglioni
Hub is an iGuzzini modular lighting system to which many different light fittings can be attached. Thus using the same track you can have fluorescent light fixtures for general lighting and spot adjustable light fixtures for accent lighting. Hub can also be installed in a vertical position. This is a unique feature as tracks installed in a vertical position may result in overheating of the light fixture installed at the top unless the fixture is specifically designed to be installed in a vertical position.
Hub is available in recessed version with frame or completely flush without any rim. Hub is also available in ceiling mounted or pendant version.
Thus Hub is perfect for shops and shop windows as well as offices and exhibition areas. Hub has been designed to make it very easy and fast to modify thus allowing maximum flexibility. The fittings have quick-connecting terminals.
ACTION, design J. M. Wilmotte

Action was designed to serve as a support for the work of hundreds of people, guaranteeing long-lasting and elevated lighting performance.
Created by J.M.Wilmotte as a complete system with easy installation, Action works with the interior décor and can satisfy many changing lighting needs by adapting to the architecture of offices, commercial areas, and services.
The special design of the channel that surrounds the lamp body is a sign of stylistic distinction, and it highlights the system’s elegance. The Action range includes many different optics: dark, wall washer, general lighting, accent lighting with fluorescent versions and direct/indirect or direct light emission. Also, the fittings can also be used with halogen and metal halide lamps. The modules can be adapted to a wide range of lamps: an interesting solution for lighting projects that can not only be suspended but also installed into ceilings, both recessed and semi-recessed.
